Bonnaroo Announces Ticket Price Increases For 2024 Citing Higher Production Costs
Bonnaroo ticket prices will increase for the upcoming 2024 edition.
Following last week’s confirmation of dates for 2024 on “The Farm,” festival organizers have shared an important update about ticket pricing for next year.
Though no concrete figures have been given, a statement posted to Bonnaroo’s Instagram page reads, “For the first time in more than a decade, we’re also making a notable base price increase.”
Bonnaroo claims that this price hike will still be “far less than inflation over that time,” and went on to cite increased production costs as the primary reason behind the higher prices.
“To continue to deliver the quality experience you have come to love and appreciate, prices need to go up just slightly,” the statement continues.
Bonnaroo also explained that festival-goers will see a new all-in price upon purchasing their 2024 ticket. This price will include all fees upfront, excluding shipping costs and locally applicable sales tax.
Bonnaroo isn’t the only festival that has been forced to make changes due to rising costs this year.
Back in March, Desert Hearts Festival announced a move from its previous home of Lake Perris in Riverside County, California to LA’s Memorial Coliseum as a result of “inflation on production costs”; and Dirtybird Campout was forced to take a hiatus this year after being unable to secure an adequate venue.
In the coming weeks, eager Bonnaroovians should be on the lookout for the festival’s annual pre-sale, which usually begins right around Thanksgiving/Black Friday.
Check out the festival’s complete statement on the price increase below. Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will return to Manchester, Tennessee from June 13-16, 2024.
