Texas Eclipse 2024 Shares The First Round Of Artists For The Celestial Celebration
Taking place from April 5-9, 2024 at the Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas, the festival stands to attract more than 50,000 music and astronomy lovers worldwide.
The international revelers will descend on central Texas for “five days of creative expression, consciousness exploration, and cosmic curiosity for an experience millions of years in the making.”
The festival will align with the upcoming total solar eclipse (which is when the moon completely covers the sun) on April 8, 2024. Though a partial eclipse will be visible from a number of locations across North America, NASA’s projections show that a total eclipse will pass directly over Burnet.
Texas Eclipse’s “First Contact” roster strikes a picture-perfect balance of electronic and jam-focused acts, who will perform across six different stages.
Texas Eclipse has also duly recruited the talents of house and techno artists such as the globetrotting Desert Hearts crew, FEMME HOUSE icon LP Giobbi, and plenty of other favorites like Bob Moses and Lee Burridge.
With cosmic education as a foremost focus, Texas Eclipse 2024 will also host science workshops, sustainability sessions, a family and kids education area, and even an Indigenous Elders Space, sharing the eclipse’s historically “profound significance for Indigenous peoples” with attendees.
