New hi-fi bar to open in London from team behind Next Door Records, New Forms
A new hi-fi bar is opening this summer in West London from the team behind Next Door Records, named New Forms.
The space is projected to open by July on King’s Road in Chelsea, West London, in partnership with The Gaumont, a 220,000 sq ft mixed-use development that includes a rooftop bar, cinema, and other businesses.
“New Forms by NDR is one of a cluster of businesses brought on board to directly breathe music, arts, and culture into Chelsea Manor Street,” Next Door Records announced on Instagram in April.

“The road is set to become a central hub for creativity and community, reconnecting the area with its history of music, DIY culture, and radical artistic movements—from punk and reggae to fashion and beyond.”
The space will feature a high fidelity soundsystem as well as a library of “local heritage records”, and a “standout” community space. New Forms will also offer a coffee, cocktail, and wine menu, promising “something unique, something special, something for everyone”.

New Forms has shared photos of the bar being developed, as well as a series of rendered photos showing what the space will look like on opening.
“Whilst we take on the music – other spaces will be leading the way through social spaces that also push film, literature, comedy, art, and much much more,” they explained.
