REZZ Releases Fifth Studio Album: As The Pendulum Swings

Canadian producer and DJ REZZ has released her long-awaited fifth studio album As The Pendulum Swings, out now via her imprint HypnoVizion. A daring evolution of her sound, the 13-track project bridges the hypnotic midtempo rhythms that first defined REZZ’s career with an experimental edge. Fans will recognize the nostalgic pulse of early cuts like Contorted and Telepathy—reworked from the vault for 2025—while being pulled into futuristic soundscapes on cinematic standouts such as Running From Reality and Delirium. Listen here.

True to its title, As The Pendulum Swings balances past and future, familiarity and innovation. Rezz leans into unpredictable structures, industrial textures, and refined sound design, crafting an album that feels both timeless and forward-thinking. It’s a defining chapter in her artistic journey, one that merges her earliest inspirations with the boundary-pushing instincts that have cemented her as one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices.

The album is woven with collaborations from across the electronic spectrum. Highlights include Dillon Francis and French electro artist BRVMES on HOW I DO IT, Canadian duo Chuurch on Telepathy, Swedish producer Owl Visionon Downward, and New Orleans-based CABLE on Glass Veins. Longtime collaborators k?dEDDIEfknsyd, and isqaalso return, adding to the project’s rich sonic tapestry.

“As The Pendulum Swings is a more mature version of my project. It reflects where I am in life as a 30 year old. I feel I have the clearest vision and desires and musically, this album plays a major role in that, as well as the aesthetics to my visual content and performances. This album means a lot to me because there’s quite a few old songs that were revamped for this. It feels nostalgic but also new. It really showcases the type of music I’m currently influenced by which feels great to say. I feel like I’ve evolved in the quality of the songs, and the direction is very specific. It capitalizes on industrial/slow techno elements.”

To celebrate the release, Rezz has announced a headline tour for early 2026, hitting five U.S. cities: Brooklyn, Boston, Detroit, Houston, and St. Louis. Before the tour, she’ll bring her PORTAL show to Washington’s Tacoma Dome, making history as the venue’s first female electronic headliner, and return for her seventh annual REZZ ROCKS at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
