John Summit Will Close Ultra Music Festival 2026 Mainstage On Sunday

The man himself keeps accruing his milestones. John Summit has been announced as the final Mainstage closing act for Ultra Music Festival 2026 on Sunday, March 29, in Miami’s Bayfront Park. This slot is one of the highest honors in Dance music, in line with the producer’s swift ascent from the underground to global superstar status in just a few years.

This closing performance highlights his rapid growth at Ultra. He played the smaller Resistance Cove stage in 2022 before moving to the Mainstage for a huge back-to-back set with Dom Dolla (as Everything Always) in 2025. Now, in 2026, he secures the ultimate solo closing slot. To add to the hype, Summit has confirmed he will debut new music from his upcoming album during the performance, making it a highly anticipated moment for the global live-stream audience.

Born and raised in Chicago, the birthplace of House music, John Summit transitioned from being an accountant by day to a global electronic music force. His breakthrough arrived in June 2020 with the single ‘Deep End’, which became the longest-running No. 1 track on Beatport that year and catapulted him to commercial success.

He is best known for fusing House, Tech House, and Techno, creating a sound that is both rooted in underground club culture and accessible to mainstream audiences. Since 2021, Summit has become one of the most in-demand DJs globally, headlining major festivals like Coachella, Tomorrowland, and EDC. He also founded his own record label and event brand, Experts Only (formerly Off The Grid), further solidifying his control over his creative and business endeavors.
