Embassy Studios Recording and Mixing Complex Opens in the Heart of Manhattan
Embassy Studios, a new professional recording facility located in Midtown Manhattan’s historic Engineering Building, has officially opened, introducing a multi-room studio environment designed around hybrid production workflows, networked audio infrastructure, and immersive mixing capabilities.
Purpose-built for contemporary music production, post-production, and content creation, Embassy Studios departs from traditional single-room studio models by enabling simultaneous, interconnected workflows across multiple studios and production spaces. The facility supports tracking, mixing, mastering, Dolby Atmos production, and remote collaboration, all integrated through a centralized Dante-enabled network.
“Embassy Studios was designed as a modern recording hub, delivering uncompromising sound quality for music, voiceover, film, and television, while providing a fully integrated infrastructure that supports both creative execution and operational workflows,” said Chief Operating Officer Vanessa Sanchez.
Acoustic Performance Meets Modern Studio Architecture
Embassy Studios was developed with a focus on acoustic accuracy, monitoring consistency, and long-session usability, combining traditional isolation principles with open architectural design. The rooms feature 20-foot ceilings, natural light, and carefully tuned acoustic environments, offering an alternative to conventional enclosed studio builds while maintaining professional isolation and performance standards.
The facility was designed in collaboration with CS Scott (construction), MAOarch (architecture), and interior designer Lisa Babar, preserving the structural character of the historic Engineering Building while implementing advanced acoustic treatment and isolation techniques required for critical listening environments.
Hybrid Workflow Infrastructure and Networked Audio
At the core of Embassy Studios is a facility-wide Dante-based audio network, enabling real-time routing between studios, production rooms, and multimedia spaces. This infrastructure supports multi-room recording and writing sessions, hybrid analog/digital workflows, remote collaboration, and scalable session configurations.
