Armin van Buuren and KI/KI electrify AMF 2025 mainstage with debut collab ‘Put Your Bassline’: Listen

Last night at AMF 2025, Armin van Buuren and KI/KI delivered one of the most anticipated performances of this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, marking their return to the Johan Cruijff ArenA with an explosive back-to-back set that blended trance, techno, and raw underground energy.

The performance came just a day after the release of their debut collaboration, ‘Put Your Bassline’, which serves as the official AMF 2025 anthem. Released on October 24 via Armada Music in partnership with slash, KI/KI’s own imprint, the track merges Armin’s signature melodic drive with KI/KI’s fierce club intensity – symbolizing the fusion at the heart of AMF’s II=I concept.

“KI/KI and I come from different styles, but we share a passion for energy and progression,” said Armin van Buuren. “‘Put Your Bassline’ captures that balance of something driving and direct, but with both our identities in it.” KI/KI echoed the sentiment, adding: “We wanted to make something that represents both of us without compromise. Their B2B—the duo’s first since their debut at ADE 2023 – brought the ArenA to life, seamlessly transitioning from hypnotic underground beats to euphoric trance peaks in front of 40,000 fans.
