Armin van Buuren Brings Exciting Face2Face Concept to Ushuaïa Ibiza
Armin van Buuren returns to Ibiza this September with his groundbreaking Face2Face concept with the pulsating rhythms of A State of Trance at Ushuaïa. The residence will run every Sunday from September 7 to 28, 2025, at the iconic open-air venue Ushuaïa Ibiza. The Dutch superstar kicked off the season with five packed shows from June 8 to July 6, it included a rare six hour open-to-close set that wowed the crowd.
Face2Face
The Face2Face format redefines the traditional DJ experience. Instead of performing solo or back-to-back, two artists stand face-to-face, creating a dynamic and spontaneous musical dialogue. This setup fosters real-time interaction and pushes creative boundaries, offering fans a raw and immersive sound journey. Armin van Buuren kicks off his Ibiza residency on September 7 with a standout Face2Face set alongside Oliver Heldens. Heldens will also perform solo, joined by Olympe and Avalan Rokston. Bringing my Face2Face concept to Ibiza for the first time, as part of my ASOT residency at Ushuaïa, is really special to me. Ibiza has always held a special place in my heart, and to experience this level of connection with the crowd, stripped back and focused purely on the music, is something I’ve been longing to do here. I can’t wait to share this journey with everyone on the dancefloor.
Each Sunday in September brings a fresh theme and a stacked lineup. Expect AVIRA’s deep cinematic sound, Avalan Rokston’s uplifting vocals, and Ben Gold’s high-energy trance. D.O.D adds playful UK house, while Funk Tribu delivers fast-paced techno with Latin flair. Inafekt blends emotion with groove. Lilly Palmer commands with bold techno. Maddix fuels the crowd with big room beats. Seth Hills brings next-gen mainstage fire. Armin closes the residency on September 28 with an extended four-hour set.
