Armin van Buuren unveils boldest chapter yet with 51-track album ‘Breathe’: Listen
Armin van Buuren has released the second half of his two-part album project, ‘Breathe’, presenting his most personal and creatively ambitious work to date. While the first part, Breathe In, arrived last year, the newly released Breathe Out completes a journey rooted in personal growth and mental clarity. Together, the 51-track collection not only showcases a reinvigorated artistic direction but also reflects a broader life transformation.
In recent years, Armin reevaluated the pace of his life and career. He stepped away from the relentless grind, choosing instead to focus on wellness, self-awareness, and presence. That shift didn’t just alter his outlook—it reshaped the way he creates. “Around five years ago, I hit a point where I wasn’t truly happy, energized or present,” Armin van Buuren shares. “I had been running on autopilot for years.”
As the creative fog lifted, so did the boundaries in his music. That freedom pulses through the album’s dynamic collaborations, which feature David Guetta, Bon Jovi, Moby, Alok, Indira Paganotto, Pendulum & Rob Swire, and Oliver Heldens, among others. From festival-ready anthems to more introspective moments, Armin allowed instinct and curiosity to guide the process—no longer bound by expectations.
At the same time, the transformation extended beyond music. Armin revamped his physical health with training, better nutrition, and mental discipline. That journey culminates in another major milestone: a feature on the July 2025 cover of Men’s Health Netherlands.
Now, as more artists speak openly about burnout and emotional tolls, Armin’s story carries added weight. With Breathe, he not only reclaims control of his own narrative but encourages others to do the same. Through openness, discipline, and reflection, Armin reemerges not just as a stronger artist—but as a more complete human being. Stream the album on Spotify below:
