Empire Music Festival 2026 Brings Multi-Genre Music Experience Back to Guatemala
Guatemala’s premier multi-genre event, Empire Music Festival (EMF), has officially announced its return for 2026, bringing its signature blend of electronic, Latin, and live music back to Jardín de la Libertad at Finca El Jocotillo on May 1–2, 2026.
Celebrating its 11th edition, Empire Music Festival continues to position itself as one of Central America’s most dynamic large-scale music gatherings, attracting international travelers alongside regional fans for a weekend that blends music, culture, and natural scenery.
Produced in partnership with Insomniac, EMF features three distinct stages showcasing a wide spectrum of sounds, including main-stage electronic acts, underground house and techno, and Latin artists spanning reggaeton, pop, indie, and crossover genres. Organizers have confirmed that the full 2026 lineup has now been revealed, with additional event details available via the festival’s official channels.
Set in an open-air environment surrounded by lush landscapes, the festival grounds allow attendees to experience music in a setting that feels equally immersive and relaxed. The venue is located approximately 50 kilometers from La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City and about one hour from Antigua Guatemala, making it easily accessible for both international and local travelers. Shuttle services have been offered in previous years, and similar transportation options are expected for the 2026 edition.
Beyond the music, Empire Music Festival is known for offering a full-scale festival experience, including designated camping areas for those looking to stay on site, as well as a variety of free attractions such as a Ferris wheel and cable cars. Festivalgoers can also expect a wide range of food and beverage vendors, along with a cashless payment system designed to streamline purchases throughout the weekend.
