fabric announce 39-hour party for 22nd birthday
fabric has announced a 39-hour party to celebrate its 22nd birthday this year.
The much-loved London club, which climbed up into the top 20 in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll, will celebrate over two decades in the heart of the city with the marathon event, set to take place from Friday 22nd until Monday 25th October.
Marking the club’s first birthday in the newly renovated club interior, fabric will welcome DJs in the form of Emerald, Goldie and Rupture/EQ50’s Mantra — with more acts set to be announced — on the Friday night from 11PM until 6AM on Saturday, before the likes of fabric resident Anna Wall, IMOGEN, club mainstay Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler and Sonja Moonear take the reins until 5AM on Monday.
A follow-up line-up announcement including final names is set to arrive towards the end of September and promises even more fabric favourites, up-and-coming-talent, and names from across the dance music spectrum.
You can get tickets for the marathon weekender here.
Earlier this year, fabric introduced a “strict” no-photo and no-video policy. Announcing the news via social media, a post shared by the club said: “fabric is London’s home for underground music, always aiming to create a feeling of self-expression on the dance-floor. We are introducing a strict no photo, and no video policy at the club. Stay in the moment and put away your phone, enjoy the night.”
In May, it was revealed that London duo Overmono would be providing a mix for the fabric Presents series.
