Ferry Corsten announces music production masterclass with Armada University

Ferry Corsten has announced a music production masterclass with Armada University and FaderPro.

Dutch trance star Ferry Corsten, who recently revealed that he had been working on new music under his Gouryella alias, has shared details of his forthcoming production masterclass available via FaderPro and made in tandem with Armin van Buuren’s educational platform, Armada University.

Throughout the 4.5 hours of course content, Corsten builds an ‘80s-style track from scratch, sharing his workflow, building sounds from the ground up, creating unique risers and demonstrating different effects. The content has also been broken down into 21 digestable chapters, which include Creating the lead bass synth, Adding snares, Creating tension with pads, and three chapters dedicated to arrangement.

Speaking about the masterclass, Corsten said: “I’m very excited that I can share my experience and knowledge with all of those who have been following me over the past 20 years. I’ll be giving an insight into how I work in the studio, showing you some great little tricks and tips that have helped shape me into the artist that I am today.”

The full course is available at a 15% pre-order discount from today, until the masterclass’ full release on the 2nd February. Every purchase of the course, whether at the full price of $59.99 or at the special pre-order discount, also includes a detailed demo feedback report on one demo from Armada Music’s A&R team, allowing producers to not only learn directly from a major artist such as Ferry Corsten, but also from the tailored feedback of the label’s esteemed A&R team.
