IMS Ibiza honours an Ibiza legend Yann Pissenem with the “IMS Legends” award
IMS Ibiza takes place from April 22nd till April 24th, 2026
Without doubt, one of our favourite weeks of the year.. IMS Ibiza, feels tantalisingly close now. Apart from the, obviously tortuous task of drinking in Ibiza, in the sunshine.. The festival is also a world renowned conference networking hub, quickly becoming the most important date in the dance music calendar.
Co-hosted by Radio 1 royalty Pete Tong and jaguar – Every year the festival hosts some of the worlds best electronic artists and also honors delegates and music industry legends. Every year, they gift an IMS Legends award to an artist or industry professional who’s been crucial in building the electronic music ecosystem to where it is today.
This year, the award goes to Ibiza legend Yann Pissenem. He’s been the creative brain trust who basically made the island the world’s electronic music capital. The guy’s a visionary, constantly pushing the envelope with music, tech, and design to create those world-class, totally immersive experiences we all love—from the poolside mayhem at Ushuaïa to the cutting-edge magic of Hï Ibiza and the new hyper-mega-super club [UNVRS].
He humbly acknowledged the award, dedicating the recognition to his partners, his brother, and the dedicated teams that bring their venues to life.
This is just one element of IMS Ibiza 2026, which runs from April 22 to 24 at the gorgeous Mondrian Ibiza & Hyde Ibiza in Cala Llonga. Before the celebratory dinner, Yann will sit down for a headline Keynote Interview with IMS co-founder and dance music icon, Pete Tong, to dive deep into his legendary career. It’s a massive nod to the whole team at The Night League, including his brother Romain and their production company High Scream.

He has transformed the island of Ibiza on countless occasions, from his first events on the sand, breaking DJ residency rules when opening Ushuaïa, launching Hï to a new generation, right up to the launch of [UNVRS] last year. He leads an incredible team of people at The Night League, assisted by his brother Romain’s pioneering production company High Scream. A true visionary, he’s changed the rules again and again, and one wonders what the next move will be.”
