Laura van Dam Unveils Found Someone EP on Dreamstate Records

Amsterdam-based producer Laura van Dam returns to Dreamstate Records with her first solo release on the label, the two-track Found Someone EP, released February 6. The release sees van Dam leaning into a sharper, more club-focused sound while keeping the emotional depth that has become central to her identity.

The EP opens with the title track, Found Someone, a high-energy progressive sound centered around momentum and mood. A husky, hypnotic vocal sits at the center of the record, offering a sense of powerful emotion as trance tempo and hyper rhythm drive the track forward. The balance between warmth and power gives the record its emotional pull, making it effective in intimate club settings as it is on larger floors.

The second track, One Last Time shifts into darker territory. The track strips things back vocally, instead focusing on punchy synth patterns and an echoing build designed to push energy levels higher. This track is catchy and atmospheric, encouraging its listeners to get lost in the track with both drops coming to a halt, before arriving to a hyper powerful vibrating sound.

Speaking on the release, Laura van Dam describes the EP as a journey where melody leads into a stronger club atmosphere, marking a confident step forward in her 2026 release schedule.
