Laurent Garnier launches new monthly radio show

[DEEP]Search radio show by Laurent Garnier will be broadcast exclusively on the French public music radio station FIP, starting Saturday 7th of September from 10pm to 12.30am CET every first Saturday of the month.

[DEEP]Search offers a carefully chosen selection of tracks and each show will be a new musical adventure, a passionate quest through the latest releases to unearth hidden treasures, with no blinkers, no limits, no preconceived ideas, a programme that transcends genres and trends, inviting listeners to discover new and daring sounds.

FIP is a French public music radio station of the Radio France group.  Its aim is to help you discover a musical universe without frontiers.  FIP claims to be the most eclectic music radio station, broadcasting a wide variety of music genres, from jazz, rock, French chanson and world music to hip hop, blues, electronic and classical music.  The philosophy of FIP is 60 minutes of music per hour, combined with short cultural updates every hour, with no advertising.  A radio program made by music lovers for music lovers.

In a saturated music landscape where more than 120,000 new titles appear on streaming platforms every day, music is often categorised, formatted and directed by algorithms that limit diversity and discovery.  For Laurent Garnier, as for FIP, “it is essential to go beyond these imposed boundaries and explore music without preconceived ideas.  As music lovers and sound messengers, our mission is to go beyond the limits, to seek out rare gems and bring to light tracks that you won’t hear anywhere else.”  For Ruddy Aboab, head of the station: “The arrival of Laurent Garnier is an absolute evidence.  FIP treats the music like Laurent does in [DEEP]Search with passion, humanity, and infinite curiosity.  Welcome Laurent!”

[DEEP]Search by Laurent Garnier, every first Saturday of the month, 10pm to 12.30am CET exclusively on FIP.  A programme that transcends genres and trends, inviting listeners to discover new and exciting sounds.
