Established by local DJ Tom2Trax, the new station has been established with the hopes of bringing more creative opportunities to the Wigan Borough; the project has been funded in partnership with Wigan Council and Arts Council England.
Alltrax has also teamed up with Manchester-based broadcaster Reform Radio to offer a series of DJ workshops for Alltrax radio DJs and Wigan residents — with hopes to help local talent establish themselves, without having to travel to Manchester.

“It just made sense to me, being from the Wigan Borough, that the same opportunities that got me playing on the radio and gigs in Manchester city centre, should exist here in the Wigan area too,” says founder Tom Hodgson (aka Tom2Trax).
“Greater Manchester is growing fast, I want this borough to be counted when it comes to dance music,” he continues.
Tom2Trax will host a free-to-attend DJ taster workshop at Leigh Library on Saturday (April 19), you can sign up here.
Alltrax will be on air from next month via its website, until then follow the station on Instagram for more updates., click here.
