Steller & Zingara Drop Mind-Bending ‘Is This Real?’ EP
The collaborative spirit between Steller and Zingara takes full form in their three-track EP Is This Real?, a project that merges their unique production styles while exploring concepts of time, consciousness, and connection. This EP features two new tracks alongside a reimagined version of their breakout hit, marking a significant milestone for both artists.
Opening with the title track, “Is This Real?” sets an immersive tone through meditative soundscapes and spoken-word elements that give way to a hypnotic drop. The piece reflects a deep thematic curiosity, as Steller explains, “Whenever Zingara and I create together, it feels effortless. She had started the intro and we built from there, with the first track exploring the idea of time and questioning reality. Everything seemed to align in unusual ways during the process, and the music reflects that sense of meaning and synchronicity.”
The EP continues with “Better Believe It,” a groove-oriented cut layered with saxophone riffs and jazz influences. Melodic arrangements and rhythmic depth give the track a vibrant quality, complementing its underlying themes. Zingara shares, “‘Is This Real?’ explores reincarnation, collective consciousness, and the nature of time itself. We began this project as my great grandma was passing. I got a phone call about her last days while we were working together, and the words became symbolic of her journey. It brought Steller and I closer through music, friendship, and studying these concepts.”
Closing the project is the long-anticipated VIP of “Find It In Your Mind,” a track that has already surpassed 2.3 million Spotify streams. This updated version intensifies the original’s bass textures, adding layered sound design and experimental arrangements that give it a fresh, club-ready identity. “We have been waiting so long to release the ‘Find It In Your Mind’ VIP,” Steller notes. “It felt like the perfect closer for the EP. If you read the titles of all three tracks together, the concept becomes clear.”
Beyond the music, Is This Real? also reflects the artists’ shared commitment to community impact. To celebrate the release, Steller and Zingara hosted a party at TK Lounge in Tampa, with all proceeds from ticket sales and limited-edition merchandise benefiting St. Francis Society Animal Rescue and Hues of Hope, Inc. This charitable angle reinforces their dedication to using their platforms for positive change, aligning music with philanthropy.
Both artists enter this release with strong momentum. Steller continues to expand her presence with a busy tour schedule and festival appearances, building on the success of her recent EPs and collaborations.
