Suwannee Hulaween, DEF Share Video Teaser For New 360-Degree OFF LIMITS Stage

As the 2024 edition of Suwannee Hulaween approaches, organizers have shared a video teaser for the South Florida festival’s new 360-degree OFF LIMITS stage.

Conjuring Hulaween’s famously spooky vibe with black and white footage of ravers dancing beneath the full moon, the teaser, posted to the festival’s social media channels last week, shares the ethos behind the new party hotspot, a collaboration with women-owned and led promoter and livestream outlet DEF.

“I remember like it was yesterday,” the video’s narrator recounts in David Attenborough-like fashion. “That dark and stormy night, underneath a full moon in the deepest woods of Spirit Lake, a mysterious structure just appeared. Circular, but not round. For those who are lost, but not ready to be found. All are welcome, even the misfits. This is the tale known as OFF LIMITS.”

Described as a “mysterious gothic temple-inspired structure” with “dark designs and stained glass windows merging with DEF’s signature 360-degree concept,” according to a press release, the new stage was designed and built by Hulaween mainstay artist Duende, whose Birdhouse Village installation has appeared at the festival for five editions. Fans can also expect top-notch pyro from Incendia and a proper kicking Funktion-One sound system.

Spanning genres such as house, techno, drum & bass, UK garage, and dubstep, Hulaween’s inaugural OFF LIMITS lineup features underground favorites like Azzecca, Ian Asher, Will Clarke, GUDFELLA, Bou, Taiki Nulight, AYYBO, EAZYBAKED, CHROMEBODIES, Riordan, Justin Jay B2B Nala, and more. Check out the full lineup below.

The festival has also unveiled this year’s Spirit Lake art program, featuring over 40 art installations, including never-before-seen pieces and returning classics, encompassing the festival’s 2024 theme concept, “ESCAPED!”

Suwannee Hulaween will return to Live Oak, Florida’s Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park on October 24-27. Additional artists on the main bill include The Bobby Weir Incident (The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir performing with The String Cheese Incident), Chris Lake, Black Pumas, Chase & Status, CloZee, Killer Mike, and Liquid Stranger, among others.
