Swedish House Mafia Announces Mexico City Show At Plaza De Toros On October 31st
Iconic GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia announces a special Mexico City show to take place on October 31st at Plaza De Toros, the world’s largest bull ring. Swedish House Mafia is ushering in their long-awaited 3.0 era with a bold new vision and their upcoming live performances will feature an all-new energy.
Swedish House Mafia’s Artist Presale for Mexico City begins on Wednesday, August 20th at 10am local time. The HSBC Card Holders Credit Card Presale starts on Wednesday, August 20th at 12pm local time. This is followed by HSBC Card Holders Debit Card Presale on Thursday, August 21st at 12pm local time. Swedish House Mafia will be headlining Creamfields 2025 next week, marking a full circle return to the festival where they first made their debut nearly two decades ago. The legendary trio will bring their electrifying performance to the Arc Stage, promising an unforgettable UK festival exclusive set.
Next month, Swedish House Mafia will play a sold-out show on September 11th at Arthur Ashe Stadium, becoming the first electronic music artist to headline the renowned venue. It will also be their largest NY show to date, with a capacity of over 23,000. The group began teasing the performance on billboards in Times Square, sparking massive buzz from eager fans. Swedish House Mafia has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket goes to supporting HEART 9/11 and their mission to rebuild communities and respond to disasters like the recent Texas floods—led by first responders, veterans, and 9/11 survivors who continue to help others in crises around the world. Swedish House Mafia will match the final amount raised.
In June, Swedish House Mafia released their new single “Wait So Long” which has garnered over 21 million streams on Spotify alone – listen HERE. Upon release, Billboard stated that the “track possesses a chest-thumping, totally soulful vocal rendered in a melody you’re likely to have in your head all weekend.” The group debuted the track at a special hometown pop-up show in Stockholm, their only Swedish show this year and their first headline show in Stockholm since 2019. “Wait So Long” marked the first Swedish House Mafia release on SUPERHUMAN, their newly launched label which serves as a multidisciplinary creative hub and platform for boundary-pushing artists of the future.
