The Best Pool Party Of Miami Music Week 2025: MEDUZA Takes Over Hyde Beach
When it comes to pool parties during Miami Music Week, it does not get better than what went down on Saturday at Hyde Beach. MEDUZA curated an all-star lineup of rising talent, global icons, and surprise guests that turned this daytime affair into the most unforgettable poolside event of MMW 2025.
Tini Gessler and Miss Dre kicked off the energy with a back-to-back session that immediately locked in the crowd. The two rising house powerhouses had seamless chemistry behind the decks, delivering an arsenal of tech house bangers and tension-filled build-ups that sent ripples through the Hyde pool.
Next up was Hayla, and her live performance was simply stunning. Her vocals rang through the venue with crystal clarity, bringing the crowd to a frenzy when she belted out her iconic hit with John Summit, “Shiver,” which she surprised everyone by performing as a melodic techno remix.
She kept the momentum going with a mix of new IDs and closed her set with “Escape,” her massive anthem with Kx5. What sets Hayla apart is that she sounds exactly like her studio recordings — an incredibly rare talent and a thrill to witness live.
GENESI followed with a blistering set, kicking things off with his house heater “Push Me,” and later dropping “Freak,” his innovative collab with MEDUZA. GENESI’s set was loaded with tech house edits of crowd favorites like “SexyBack” and “Poker Face,” all filtered through his unique, genre-bending sound. His skills behind the decks were just as impressive as his production. This Italian prodigy is clearly on a rocketship to the top of the scene.
As the sun began to dip, Max Styler took over with a darker, more underground energy. His sunset set was packed with robotic synths and hammering basslines, giving a taste of where house music is heading. The crowd lost it when he dropped his current dancefloor weapon, “I Know You Want To.”
To close out the night, MEDUZA went B2B with James Hype in a set that somehow exceeded sky-high expectations. Hayla returned for a live performance of “Another World,” and the trio also slipped in “Edge of the World,” one of their most powerful new anthems. What made it even more special? All three members of MEDUZA were on stage — something fans seldom get to experience. At one point, they even jumped in on a spontaneous B2B with Styler.
Every artist brought something unique to the table, and the backdrop of Hyde Beach — with its unrivaled crowd energy, lighting display, killer sound, and refined cabana setup — elevated the entire event. It wasn’t just a party. It was the pool party of Miami Music Week 2025.
