The Twilo reunion lands in the original West 27th Street room for a 25th anniversary Weekend
The pulse of an NYC golden era is finally coming home. Twenty-five years since the closing night of the Chelsea underground space that became the north star for music-first late-90s dance culture, Twilo Events brings the incomparable energy back to the original location on March 6 & 7, 2026.
Twilo was a club that burned bright, then disappeared during the early-2000s crackdown era, becoming even bigger in memory once it was gone. If you ever chased daybreak in that room, you already understand its pull. If you came up on the iconic venue, this is your chance to step into its architecture. This reunion weekend is built around the idea Twilo stamped into New York’s nightlife DNA: long-form sets, total immersion, and a soundsystem still spoken of as folklore.
Friday, March 6, starts with a DJ pairing that reads like a map of the era: John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia. Digweed’s precision programming and narrative mixing make hours disappear, making his monthly residency with Sasha a global underground benchmark. Famously, he and Danny closed the club that spring afternoon in 2001. On this night, the two go back in time to recreate the energy of that magical night.

On Saturday, March 7, the energy shifts for Danny Tenaglia’s Birthday: Twilo Classics (ALL NIGHT LONG). Danny’s residency on 27th Street was a gathering that felt nothing short of spiritual, as only an organic nightlife community can. For the reunion, he’s taking us deep into the vault for Twilo Classics, along with Carry Nation and Benny Soto in the loft. Expect a soul-shaking trip in the exact space where “Music is the Answer” became a lifestyle and the tracks that defined an era became global anthems.
On this weekend, the original W 27th venue will recapture the raw, immersive atmosphere that made it respected around the world. It is a site of pilgrimage for those who lived it, and now it is the kind of night the new generation deserves to feel firsthand. New York has changed dramatically since 1995, when a simple warehouse idea grew into the epicenter of club culture. Hunger for a real night out has only gotten stronger. This reunion gives it a home address ripe with nostalgia and community. After all, it’s you, the dancers, who created this special vibe. Let’s again join the groove on one of the greatest dancefloors New York has ever seen.
Expect demand to be high for this one, so be sure to get your tickets early, as this event will sell out!
