Tickets Still Available For Burning Man Festival (2024)

Table of Contents

Burning Man 2024 is breaking tradition this year as tickets remain available just days before the festival kicks off in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada. Historically, tickets have sold out in mere minutes, but slower sales have led to an unexpected opportunity for non-registered buyers to join the event.

In previous years, the festival passes would be snapped up in under 30 minutes, with many festivalgoers scrambling to secure their spot. However, as the event draws near, the festival has yet to sell out its allocation of 73,000 tickets. Many are attributing this slowdown to the disruptions caused by last year’s torrential rain, which left thousands stranded at the site.

In response, organizers have launched the “OMG Sale“, releasing around 3,000 additional tickets and 1,500 vehicle passes for non-registered buyers. This sale allows buyers to purchase up to two tickets each, giving new attendees a rare chance to experience the event.

Ticket Pricing Breakdown For 2024

General admission tickets for Burning Man are priced at $575 (£450.79) before additional fees. These include a $30 (£23.52) delivery fee, a Nevada Live Entertainment Tax of $51.75 (£40.57), and a $23.13 (£18.13) credit card processing charge. For those bringing vehicles, a pass will cost $150 (£117.60), while higher-tier ticket options are available at $1,500 (£1,175.98), plus other applicable fees.

What to Expect at Burning Man 2024

Burning Man offers an unmatched opportunity for creativity, community, and inspiration in a world where division often prevails. With this additional ticket release, we’re excited to welcome even more participants to experience the arts, culture, and unique atmosphere of Burning Man.

Says Marian Goodell. Last year’s festival was heavily impacted by severe weather, turning the desert into a muddy landscape. Many attendees were trapped onsite and advised to conserve food and water until conditions improved. Organizers have since warned participants about the risks of “playa foot“, a condition caused by the highly alkaline desert soil, advising everyone to avoid walking barefoot in the mud to prevent skin burns.

Despite last year’s challenges, the festival is set to return stronger, and organizers are hopeful for a smooth experience from August 25 to September 2, 2024. Burning Man 2024 will once again take place in its iconic location in the Black Rock Desert, offering attendees a blend of art, culture, and community.

For those still looking to join, tickets remain available for purchase, and vehicle passes are up for grabs. Don’t miss this chance to be part of one of the world’s most unique cultural events.
