Tinlicker make a compelling return with their latest remix, reworking The Boxer Rebellion’s beloved track ‘Diamonds.’ into a cinematic, emotionally-charged melodic house anthem. Out today via Remember The Future / [PIAS], the release bridges indie rock and progressive electronica in classic Tinlicker style.

Formed in Utrecht by Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven, the Dutch duo have carved out a reputation for emotive, melody driven productions and dynamic live sets across major festivals like Tomorrowland, Sziget, and Coachella. Their connection to The Boxer Rebellion runs deeper than just fandom. In 2021, they remixed the Nathan Nicholson‑led track ‘Be Here and Now‘, establishing both creative rapport and shared artistic intimacy.

Now, they reunite on what they’re calling a full-circle moment.

“When we asked Nathan Nicholson to work with us on what later became ‘Be Here And Now’ back in 2020, it came from our fanship of his band The Boxer Rebellion. So having the opportunity to work on a new version of ‘Diamonds’ – their biggest hit – feels like the perfect gift. A very good reason to release Tinlicker’s first remix in more than three years…”

Originally released in 2013, ‘Diamonds’ is The Boxer Rebellion’s most iconic track, and Tinlicker’s remix breathes new life into it.
