New Venue SILO Dallas Nabs Spot on DJMag’s “Top 100 Clubs”

Just six months after its grand opening, SILO Dallas has been voted one of the Top 10 clubs in the U.S. and number 52 in DJ Mag’s 2025 “Top 100 Clubs in the World”—marking a major milestone for one of Texas’ most exciting new cultural destinations. Located in Dallas’ Design District, and Co-founded by legendary promoter James “Disco Donnie” Estopinal Jr. with Patrick Tetrick, SILO is one of the first venues purpose-built for immersive experiences, and its rise has been nothing short of meteoric. The venue was three years in the making, transforming a 1950s grain silo into a 32,000-square-foot audiovisual playground. Outfitted with a 100,000-watt D&B sound system, national-scale stage, immersive 2mm video wall, and flexible event spaces, SILO has quickly become a beacon for artists and fans alike.

After decades of navigating venue chaos—from being carried out sideways by security, to getting handcuffed, being tear-gassed and overcharged, and even having a gun pulled on him during settlement—Estopinal knew exactly what not to do. “I’ve been beaten, blocked from exits with Tiësto, charged by the hour for bartenders, and forced to replace my own equipment after Skrillex blew it out,” he told Billboard.”With SILO, we set out to build the kind of place we always wished existed: artist-friendly, fan-first, and run with purpose.”

That approach—community-first, artist-forward—has sparked overwhelming support from both sides. In its debut season, SILO has hosted a jaw-dropping array of talent including Eric Prydz, FISHER, Tiësto, Charlotte de Witte, Deadmau5, Illenium, Black Coffee, Solomun, and more. Artists have flooded social media with praise.

With back-to-back sell outs and a diverse, genre-spanning lineup, SILO has proven it’s not just a venue—it’s a movement. The team has already begun expanding capacity from 3,145 to 5,000, with a wraparound mezzanine under construction and a second performance room underway in the backstage wing. Even more exciting: construction is already underway on a 46,000-square-foot sister venue in Houston, along with a music-forward pizza bar concept launching next door to the Dallas flagship.

The 2025 calendar has been stacked with top-tier talent including Fatboy Slim, Nora En Pure, Alesso, Diplo, Amelie Lens, Svdden Death, Chris Lake, Cloonee, and Mau P. Upcoming shows will feature the return of Tiësto and Excision, two nights of Ganja White Night, Porter Robinson, plus Sofi Tukker, Timmy Trumpet, and many more. From day one, SILO was designed to be more than just a club—it’s a full-spectrum experience, where high-caliber production meets a deep-rooted sense of community. While Estopinal leads with decades of promoter experience and an artist-first approach, co-founder Patrick Tetrick drives the physical and experiential growth of the venue—overseeing expansion and construction while prioritizing every detail of the guest experience to ensure each night feels exceptional.
