ABSOLUTE. and Dot Major link up on new single as NIGHT manoeuvres
ABSOLUTE. and London Grammar’s Dot Major have teamed up on a new collaborative project, named NIGHT manoeuvres.
The debut single from the new duo is due to land on May 29 fabric Records, ‘Genesis’. “We knew the first time we met that our second meeting would be at the studio,” they explain. “What we didn’t know was the immediate trust and openness there, which would take us on a musical journey to a realm neither of us had discovered before.”

Sofia Kourtesis to release new EP on Ninja Tune this summer, ‘Volver’
Sofia Kourtesis has announced the release of a new EP landing on Ninja Tune on August 1, ‘Volver’. The first single from the record is a collaboration with Daphni, ‘Unidos’, out now.
“‘Unidos’ is about the power and beauty of how much stronger we are together,” she says. “I always admire the light and the beautiful shine of Dan, he is a hero and he is so generous without making a big bash about it.”

Blackdown marks 20 years of Keysound Recordings with new EP ‘Irradiated Reality’
Blackdown is back with a new EP to mark the 20th anniversary of Keysound Recordings, the label he co-founded alongside Dusk in 2005. ‘Rollage Vol. 8: Irradiated Reality’ features four new tracks from the producer.

yeule drops last single from forthcoming album, ‘Dudu’
yeule has released a new single in the lead-up to their new album ‘Evangelic Girl is a Gun’.
‘Dudu’ marks the final release ahead of the album, which lands on May 30 via Ninja Tune. The single explores themes of “unrequited love & stifling yourself”, an introspective release with post-pop sensibilities.

Posthuman to release five-track EP, ‘The Mind Is A Heavy Burden’, on Flatlife
Posthuman is set to release a new five-track EP on Dutch record label Flatlife next month, titled ‘The Mind Is A Heavy Burden’.
The EP is a taster of a full-length project due later from Posthuman, comprising 13 tracks spanning signature 303s and dark acid house.
CCL launches new imprint subglow with EP from georg-i
CCL is launching their new imprint, subglow, with a five-track EP from Bristol-based producer georg-i.
The EP, said to be an “expansive interpretation of soundsystem music”, is due to land on June 6, and features remixes from Metrist and the elusive B. McQueen.

Melle Brown calls in summer with new house track ‘Spirit’
Melle Brown has released a brand new track via Southern Fried, titled ‘Spirit’, welcoming in the warm summer months with this deep and soulful house cut.
“I’ll never stop playing and LOVING music and dancing with the beautiful people I meet along the way,” she says. “Hope you love this one as much as I do!”

ARCA returns with new double-tracker on XL, ‘Puta / Sola’
ARCA is back with a brand new double-tracker via XL Recordings, ‘Puta / Sola’, which debuted for the first time last month at Coachella.
“‘Puta’ and ‘Sola’ are songs I’ve been perfecting for years,” she says. “Taking my time writing, recording, producing and mixing them on my own, slow cooking, has been important to getting the music just right.”

Nick León to release debut album on TraTraTrax next month
Miami’s Nick León is gearing up to release his debut album on TraTraTrax in June, ‘A Tropical Entropy’, comprising 11 tracks including 2024’s collab single with Erika de Casier, ‘Bikini’.
The latest single from the record is out now, ‘Ghost Orchid’ featuring Ela Minus, is out now.

Vanyfox drops new single from forthcoming EP, ‘Choros e Melodias’
Vanyfox has dropped a new single ahead of the release of his forthcoming EP, ‘Choros e Melodias’, due to arrive on June 4 via Montreal’s Moonshine label.
New single ‘Free Your Mind’ features Haitian-Canadian rapper Lou Phelps, who delivers a laid-back flow over Vanyfox’s signature batida stylings.

Helena Hauff and F#X bring back their Black Sites alias after 11 years
Helena Hauff and F#X have revived their collaboration project Black Sites after a hiatus of more than a decade.
The Hamburg duo will release a 10-track album titled ‘R4’ via Tresor Records on June 27.
It has a raw energy that reflects it’s creation process of being recorded to tape without much editing. The first single ‘FLIKK’ is out now and can be heard below.

Amelie Lens has released a new two-track EP, ‘Serenity’, via her EXHALE imprint.
Speaking about the release, Amelie Lens said: “With my new EP, I wanted to explore the tension between calm and chaos. ‘Serenity’ leans into a more melodic, radio-friendly space, while ‘Club of Extremes’—which fans have been waiting on for a long time—dives straight into the raw energy of the club. Paurro has announced she is launching a new label called aanjel, minting the imprint with a V/A compilation.
Artists featuring on the 13-strong tracklist alongside Paurro herself are fellow Mexicans Bluecommand, Sandunga, Seli, OMAAR and Valeriana, with international contributions coming from Ariel Zetina, Farsight, James Bangura, Whitney Weiss, DJ + 1, Jordan Gardner and MIASALAV, exploring styles spanning hypnotic house, experimental club, grooving acid, blissed-out ambient, and more.

Copenhagen composer Minais B, real name Villads Klint, is releasing a new album ‘And i know i can feel bad when i get in a bad mood’ via Anyines on June 20.
The 10-track release is described as reflecting “a post-heartbreak atmosphere; a spiralling quest of ambivalence and doubt.”

Cid Rim to release new album via LUCKYME®
Austrian artist Cid Rim, real name Clemens Bacher, is releasing a new album titled ‘SPRINT’ via LUCKYME® on June 27.
It’s the result of skipping Vienna winter to head out to Mexico in late 2023, with a sun-drenched vibe across the runtime.
“To me, this record feels like a bold step outwards for Clemens…almost like he’s rushing towards something,” says his high school friend Dorian Concept, who worked on the album with Cid Rim alongside The Clonious.
