Ferry Corsten revisits alias Gouryella on new single; Listen

With a decades-long career as a producer and DJ, Ferry Corsten has found unique ways to reinvent himself throughout. Recently, he returned to a past alias to release an emotional and moving new single.

One of the pioneers of modern Trance, Ferry Corsten, has excelled for so long because of his uplifting melodies, powerful anthems, and incredible live sets. Throughout the years, he has predominantly operated under his known name but has occasionally turned to aliases for certain releases. Corsten has used several other names for his releases, but recently returned to the Gouryella moniker for the project’s second-ever vocal track.

Titled Marama (Moon & Stars), with the phrase marama coming from the Māori word for ‘moon.’ Vocalist Saskia Lie Atjam delivers a gorgeous topline, whose lyrics and voice perfectly transport listeners into an ethereal headspace. The brilliant production from the Dutch producer perfectly shares the powerful energy force of Lie Atjam. With 2025 celebrating 25 years of the Gouryella alias, Ferry Corsten chose a great time to provide this masterpiece.
