Nawfel Channels Motion into Music with New “Cosmos” EP

ENSOULED’s latest release sees Moroccan artist Nawfel stepping firmly into his own with the “Cosmos” EP, a three-track transmission from the intersection of soul, rhythm, and underground finesse. Shaped by a lifelong relationship with movement, rhythm, and the craft of musical storytelling, Nawfel’s evolution from breakdance pioneer to selector to producer finds a new high watermark here.

Raised in Casablanca’s creative underground, Nawfel has always made music you can move to – quite literally. From shaping the breakdance culture in Morocco and the wider MENA region to spinning records with a genre-fluid sense of narrative, his work has long been defined by motion and emotional intent. “Cosmos” is the sound of that history but refined: elegant, expressive, and alive.

The EP opens with “Golden Dusk” (feat. HE), a twilight-hued deep house cut full of jazz-inspired keys, soft-edged synths, and gliding vocals that feel like sunlight breaking through clouds. “Night Cruise” follows, pairing stripped-down groove with a retro-futurist polish – perfectly made for night drives and hangouts. Closer “Fight or Flight” goes inward with a brooding yet sleek tribute to Detroit’s legacy – moody, minimal, and beautifully restrained.

Together, the tracks sketch a sonic journey: introspective but not pretentious, warm yet commanding. With “Cosmos”, Nawfel proves himself as both a producer with immaculate taste and as a storyteller with range. This isn’t house simply made for the streams – it’s house as soul work. Nawfel’s one to watch.
