Above & Beyond Announce Standalone Return To Argentina After Three Years

*Insert ‘Counting Down The Days’ lyrics*

Great, grand, monumental news for the Anjunafamily of Argentina. Having just set foot in the country for a closing slot at the recent Ultra Buenos Aires festival, Above & Beyond broke the news: they’re returning. And for the first time since 2023, they’re returning on their own, not tied to any major weekend festival. So this time, it’s going to be a longer set, and the crowd will be fully Anjunafam-tinted.

See you in June“, was the highlighted phrase of a video shared two days ago by BAD, the organiser of the Buenos Aires Dance event, a historic week held during February, boiling artist talks, interviews, meet & greet opportunities, pop-up sets and many more in the capital of the Land of Tango — a sort of South American MMW if you will.

The video showed both Tony and Paavo visiting the brand-new lookout point located inside the Obelisk of the 9 de Julio Avenue. And towards the end of the clip, both of them said the phrase. And the news rapidly spread that a new visit was underway. A standalone visit. Well, today the official announcement was made. The date will be Saturday, June 6th, in Mandarina Tent.

This is great news for the region, since, to the devoted fan, the past two instances of the trio landing in Argentina have been a bit lacklustre. Not because of their performance, but due to the fact that both in Lollapalooza (2024) and Ultra (2026), their set lasted less than 1h30. And let’s not forget that a technical discrepancy during the former caused the DJ booth to collapse and fall to the ground mid-set. So, yeah.

Fans were craving a true set from their hand, like we’re used to, with a length that exceeds 2h30 and taps into their gems from yesteryear as much as it does modern anthems. And it’s finally here.

You can get your tickets via the official channels. And you can start, well, counting down the days and the nights…
