KuCoin Transforms Tomorrowland With New ‘Celestia’ Stage

Tomorrowland has officially joined forces with global crypto platform KuCoin in a major three-year strategic deal (2026–2028) that names the platform the festival’s Official Exclusive Crypto Exchange and Crypto Payments Partner. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the intersection of digital finance and live music, with KuCoin delivering an immersive experience through the debut of the Celestia stage, which electrified crowds across both weekends of the festival.

The Celestia Stage Experience

During Weekend 2 of Tomorrowland Belgium, KuCoin celebrated its 9th anniversary at the Celestia Stage. The venue hosted a curated lineup of world-class electronic acts, including Mark Knight, Mr. Belt & Wezol, Belters Only, Bingo Players with Iceman, Dada Life, Sander van Doorn, and a high-energy b2b set from Dannic and Dyro.

We spoke with the managing director of KuCoin, Sabina Liu, to gain insight into the vision behind the Celestia stage and the broader partnership with Tomorrowland. According to Liu, the stage was designed as a collaborative effort to merge technology, culture, and community.

Liu emphasized that the goal was not to create a stage specifically about cryptocurrency, but rather to foster a space where attendees could connect and share unforgettable moments. The integration of the “KuCoin Guardians”—ambient guides roaming the festival grounds—further enhanced the interactive nature of the experience.

Technological Integration and Future Outlook

Beyond the stage design, the partnership introduces practical utility for festival-goers. Key activations include the testing of the limited-edition KuCard, which allows attendees to pay for food, drinks, and merchandise using crypto. Additionally, KuCoin has served as the official livestream presenter, bringing the festival experience to fans globally via the KuCoin App.

Looking ahead, the multi-year agreement suggests a long-term commitment to evolving the festival experience. Liu noted that the partnership will likely expand to include Tomorrowland Winter, with a focus on deeper community engagement and digital innovation. “Our ambition isn’t simply to return each year,” Liu concluded. “It’s to keep creating experiences that people remember long after the festival ends.”
