Above & Beyond and Victoria Horn Unveil Final Single ‘When You Believe’

Above & Beyond and Victoria Horn have officially released their latest collaboration, ‘When You Believe’. Serving as the final single lifted from the trio’s acclaimed album ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’, the track masterfully juxtaposes uplifting, poignant lyrics against a darker, Balearic-inspired chord progression. The song carries a powerful, universal mantra: “When you believe in love, you believe in life. And your life will love you back.”

‘When You Believe’ marks the second time the iconic electronic trio has joined forces with the talented singer-songwriter. The pair previously collaborated on the fan-favourite anthem ‘Counting Down The Days’, which featured on the 2015 album We Are All We Need—a record that also saw Horn credited as a co-writer.

A Creative Evolution

Reflecting on the production process, Jono Grant of Above & Beyond shared insight into the track’s origins. “It all started with these chords I made, then Victoria added the melody and lyrics,” he explained. “It’s got a real ’90s feel to it. When our A&R heard the opening bassline, he said it reminded him of Haddaway.” Grant also highlighted a unique structural quirk in the arrangement, noting that the chorus lands on an off number of bars, a subtle detail that signaled to the team they had created something truly special.

A Legacy of Collaboration

Victoria Horn brings a wealth of experience to the project as a decades-established writer and vocalist. Her storied career includes signing to Geffen Records as part of a group with Andy Taylor of Duran Duran, alongside high-profile collaborations with industry titans such as Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, The Blessed Madonna, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, and Ferry Corsten.

Meanwhile, the Club Mix of ‘When You Believe’ has already become a staple of the group’s massive 175,000-ticket global ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’ album tour.
