Armin van Buuren & John Christian unleash the energy with ‘All Night’: Listen
Armin van Buuren brought out John Christian from his 2-year-long release hiatus for a powerful bigroom trance collaboration which has been turning heads since its debut at Ultra Miami 2024.
2025 barely started and Armin van Buuren is already on a hot streak, barely rivaled by anyone in the scene. January has already seen him release Euphoria (with Alok, Norma Jean Martine, and LAWRENT) and Love together with Omnia. But that’s not it. For his final release in January, Armin called upon John Christian, a cult hero among electronic music enthusiasts. All Night, their debut creation premiered at Ultra Miami 2024 and has been played in literally every Armin van Buuren set since then.
All Night starts out strong from the first minute. The seemingly transcendental atmosphere, coupled with a production that screams spectacle makes for a production that is a worthy addition to the realm of bigroom trance. The vocal is simple, and chopped in interesting ways which creates a simple, but effective melody. The one-liner “all night” is being repeated throughout the duration of the track, giving the production the human edge. The breakdown is hypnotic and the synth used in it is borderline cyberpunk which is nothing new for this branch of trance but still a wonderful touch. Drops are expertly crafted, centered around simple supersaws that maintain high energy.
Armin van Buuren is one of the most productive DJs on the planet right now. With numerous IDs set to be released in the coming months, such as the Rob Swire collaboration or his fan-named single Dream A Little Dream, the trance king is showing no signs of stopping and we hope it stays like that.
