Armin van Buuren releases ‘A State of Trance Ibiza 2025’: Listen

Armin van Buuren has released the 11th edition of his celebrated White Isle mix series, unveiling ‘A State of Trance Ibiza 2025 (Mixed by Armin van Buuren).’ The project arrives as the trance icon continues another high-energy summer at Ushuaïa Ibiza, where he remains a resident fixture.

Structured in three parts—On The Beach, In The Club, and Who’s Afraid Of 138?!—the 42-track mix reflects the full spectrum of Armin’s sound across the island. From laid-back daytime grooves to peak-hour club anthems and euphoric trance climaxes, the collection embodies both his versatility and his devotion to the genre.

Moreover, this year’s edition features standout contributions from Martin Garrix, Ferry Corsten, Eli Brown, Hi-LO, Indira Paganotto, Lilly Palmer, W&W, and Maddix. The collaborations underline Armin’s ongoing mission to bring together diverse artists and styles under the broader trance and progressive umbrella.

“Ibiza is my home away from home and continues to be a huge inspiration for me,” Armin explained. “This year’s mix album is especially close to my heart because it captures the energy of my first extended set since 2018: the six-hour opening night set at Ushuaïa.

Beyond the mix album, Armin’s recent single ‘Heavy’ has been making waves far beyond trance. The track has crossed genres and found support from underground leaders such as Anyma, Solomun, Kevin de Vries, and Agents Of Time, as well as commercial heavyweights like David Guetta, W&W, Nicky Romero, and more.
