Armin van Buuren revamps Camisra’s house classic ‘Let Me Show You’: Listen

Some tracks never fade; they evolve. Armin van Buuren digs into the rich history of dance music to revitalize Camisra’s iconic Let Me Show You. Originally a chart-topping hit in 1998, this classic is once again ready to light up the dance floors, reimagined by one of the industry’s top talents, and released under Armada Music.

‘Let Me Show You,’ originally released in 1998 by Camisra, an alias of ‘Tall’ Paul Newman, quickly soared into the top 5 of the UK charts. The track, a beloved classic, continues to be a staple in the sets of top-tier DJs such as James Hype, Jax Jones, and Solomun. Over 25 years later, Armin van Buuren breathes new life into this timeless rave anthem, reshaping it for both the intense energy of dark dance floors and the vibrant atmosphere of festival stages. The 2024 release adds a harder edge to the original, offering a high-energy sonic experience that elevates the iconic breakdown with intensified synths and unmistakable vocal hits. This reimagined version, already proving its worth at Tomorrowland Winter, is poised to dominate the festival scene this season.

Reflecting on the project, Armin van Buuren shared, “Sometimes, to move forward, you need to look back. When I first heard ‘Let Me Show You,’ it was clear that this track needed a revival, not a reinvention. The original has so much character—I just wanted to enhance what was already there and make it feel fresh for my sets. It’s been a summer anthem.”

Armin’s approach to this rework strikes a perfect balance. He preserves the core elements that made ‘Let Me Show You’ an instant classic—kinetic drums and bold, rounded synths—while leaving his unmistakable mark with deeper bass cuts and a more dramatic drop, ensuring the track feels both fresh and familiar.
