Autechre, Caribou, Arca and Pa Salieu to play Turin’s C2C Festival
C2C Festival has made its first line-up announcement for 2022.
The Italian festival is turning 20 this year and will mark the occasion with a four-day event starring festival regulars as well as a slew of new names. The 2022 edition will take place in various venues across the city, with a focus on adventurous sounds from across the musical spectrum and genre-spanning acts.
Arca, Autechre, Caribou and Jamie xx will return to C2C for its anniversary festivities. Aya, Bicep, Jockstrap, Low and Pa Salieu will also make their C2C debuts at this year’s edition alongside Nala Sinephro, Lyra Pramuk and more. Further names are still to be announced.
C2C has also unveiled a new festival logo for 2022. Organisers have described the winged symbol as a “representation of the future state of the body, the urgency to put it centre stage, in celebration of its freedom, the need for aggregation, to dance, to listen, to enlighten and be enlightened”. C2C Festival tickets will go on sale on 1 February. Purchase tickets here and head to the C2C website for further details.
Last year, former Crack Magazine cover star Arca and Aphex Twin collaborator Weirdcore worked on a short film presented by C2C Festival. Arca curated the event, lining up guest appearances from Total Freedom and Physical Therapy. She also performed on the night. Find out more here.
