AVA announces set times for 2021 festival

AVA festival has announced the set times for this week’s event.

After missing its 2020 edition due to the coronavirus pandemic, Belfast’s beloved AVA will return to the city at a new venue this year, bringing the multi-stage party to Boucher Road Playing Fields for the first time.

Kicking off this Friday (24th), The Surround Stage — streamed by Boiler Room — will start the weekend by hosting the likes of object blue, Kessler, Sputnik One and Helena Hauff, before Moodtrax, DART and Carista pave the way for epic closing sets on Saturday from KiNK, Sally C b2b Cromby and Hammer.

On the Nomadic and Grasses stages, performances on Friday will come from Optimo, Jayda G, Space Dimension Controller and Jordan Nocturne, with Percboi 3000, Carlton Doom and DJ Boneyard also confirmed for sets. On the Saturday, Anu, Sunil Sharpe, Gemma Dunleavy and Tommy Holohan will close out the festival, as well as R.Kitt and Kwame Daniels.
