Beastie Boys producer Mario Caldato Jr remixes The Avalanches ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’: Listen
The Avalanches have shared a new remix of their classic track ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’ by producer Mario Caldato Jr.
Caldato Jr is best known for his work with the Beastie Boys, having worked as a producer and engineer on much of their work from 1989 to 1998. His remix of ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’ is one of a number of bonus tracks set to feature on the forthcoming deluxe 20th anniversary edition of The Avalanches’ classic album, ‘Since I Left You’.
Other artists contributing remixes to the release are Leon Vynehall, Carl Craig and MF Doom, whose remix of ‘Tonight May Have To Last Me All My Life’ will feature posthumously on the release after his death last year. The reissue will be released on June 4th.

The Avalanches released their latest studio album, ‘We Will Always Love You’, in December 2020.
