Blastoyz Calls Out DJ’s That Refuse to Play After Him

Widely known for his high energy psy-trance signature sound described as “future-psy”, Blastoyz recently went to social media to describe how he felt other DJ’s were treating him. In an Instagram post, Blastoyz didn’t hold back, but he kept it professional. He touched on a few key points that resonated with fans.

.

A genre that thrives on 140+ BPM and bone-shaking basslines. While fans live for that intensity, it seems some of his peers are feeling the heat.

There is something that has been bothering me for years , felt like this was the time to share so people can understand how some artists move behind the scenes , I’m also speaking out for others that choose to stay silent”

He went on to describe how it has been a continuous issue for him where artists do not want to play after him due to the “energy level” of his sets.

“They Say it Clearly, not because of logistics or other reasons , just because of the ‘energy level’ of my sets, and that’s when it becomes personal”

After it recently happened to him again, he clearly felt it was time to address this issue.

“This whole story is not only about my playtime being replaced again, there is a bigger picture about a scene, a genre, a community and artist who consciously choose to try to weaken others instead of being a cultural force and yes-at some point not being afraid to proudly pass the torch to the next generation”

In light of recent events Blastoyz shared his excitement for what’s to come.

You can catch Blastoyz next at Groove Cruise:

“Groove Cruisers, this year you’ll find me happily and with real good vibes as always playing Friday at studio B (Deck 4) and Sunday at the pool (deck 15) and probably some extra SPONTANEOUS sets around as usual”
