Brandon Silverstein’s S10 and Avex USA Cap Landmark Year With Multiple Year-End Chart Victories
Brandon Silverstein’s S10 and Avex USA Publishing have closed out 2024 with unprecedented success, landing three songs in the Top 20 of Mediabase’s year-end Top 40 radio chart, marking a triumphant conclusion to a year of significant expansion and strategic growth.
Chart Dominance Showcases Publishing Strength
Tate McRae’s “Greedy,” produced by S10 publishing client Jasper Harris, claimed the #1 position on Mediabase’s year-end Top 40 radio chart, while Doja Cat’s “Agora Hills,” produced by Gent!, secured the #5 spot. Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby,” produced by Kavi, rounded out the company’s impressive showing at #16. All three tracks achieved #1 status on Spotify’s Global Chart throughout 2024, with Rvssian’s “Santa,” penned by S10 writer Kosa, reaching #12 on the same chart.
Management Division Continues Strong Momentum
The success extends to S10’s management division, which has seen significant wins following its expansion earlier in 2024, including the high-profile addition of Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean. Management client Myke Towers has maintained steady momentum, recently breaking into the Top 20 with “Degeneré” featuring Benny Blanco. This follows the success of “Adivino” with Bad Bunny, which reached #1 on Spotify’s Global Chart earlier in the year.
Year of Strategic Growth
These achievements cap a transformative year for S10, which saw the company secure a strategic investment from Avex USA in May 2024. The partnership, which built upon an existing publishing relationship, has helped facilitate global opportunities for artists and writers across both companies’ rosters.
“Closing the year with the #1 song on Mediabase’s Top 40 radio chart, as well as the #5 and #16 songs, reflects the incredible talent and dedication of our team and the strong partnership we’ve built with Avex,” says Silverstein. “Our producers and songwriters, like Jasper Harris, Gent!, and Kavi, have delivered groundbreaking success that inspires us every day.”
Naoki Osada, CEO of Avex USA, adds: “We’ve been extremely excited to witness the great successes of the amazing creatives we support together. We feel nothing but profound respect for their precious talent and hard work. We truly believe the chemistry between our two companies is unique and holds tremendous potential for the future.”The year-end chart success underscores Brandon Silverstein’s growing influence across both publishing and management sectors, with the company’s bi-coastal operation in Los Angeles and New York continuing to expand its reach through partnerships with industry figures including JAY-Z, Ryan Tedder, Max Matsuura, and Simon Fuller.
