Chicago’s ARC Music Festival Announces 2026 Expansion and Massive Lineup

Chicago’s ARC Music Festival has officially unveiled its plans for 2026, confirming a significant expansion to a four-day format. The festival, which has become a cornerstone of the global electronic music calendar, will return to the city during Labor Day Weekend, running from September 4–7. Spearheaded by Auris Presents, the event continues to serve as a vital gathering point for house and techno enthusiasts, celebrating the rich musical heritage of Chicago.

A New Era for Chicago’s Electronic Scene

House music remains Chicago’s most enduring cultural export—a movement rooted in inclusivity, community, and artistic expression. ARC serves as a living tribute to this legacy, bridging the gap between the genre’s foundational roots and its future trajectory. By extending the festival to four days, organizers aim to provide a more comprehensive experience for attendees, allowing for a deeper exploration of the talent that defines the modern electronic landscape.

“Every year we face the same challenge: we want to include more artists than the schedule allows. The global community is thriving, and ARC always flies by,” says ARC Co-Founder and Lead Talent Buyer John Curley. “Just as we hit our stride, the weekend is over, and we never want the music to stop. By expanding to four days, we can showcase more of the talent we love and create even more unforgettable moments for our community. This marks the beginning of a new era for ARC.”

A World-Class Lineup

The 2026 lineup reflects the festival’s commitment to both established legends and emerging innovators. Headliners include the futuristic soundscapes of Anyma, the legendary Underworld, global icon Michael Bibi, and Chicago’s own Honey Dijon. The bill also features high-profile performances from Sara Landry, Mochakk, Mau P, and Chase & Status, alongside a highly anticipated B2B set from Vintage Culture and Damian Lazarus.

The curation also highlights the collaborative spirit of the scene, with unique back-to-back pairings such as The Blessed Madonna B2B Lil’ Louis, and Green Velvet B2B Josh Baker. These sets underscore the festival’s dedication to bridging generations of artists.

Immersive Stages and After-Hours Programming

ARC 2026 will feature four distinct stages, including the return of the massive Grid, the sun-drenched Expansions, and the gritty Area 909. A new addition, The Midway, will debut this year, drawing inspiration from Chicago’s historic Midway Plaisance and the city’s architectural legacy. This stage is designed to evoke the energy of an international terminal, celebrating the global diaspora of house music.

Beyond the festival grounds, the ARC After Dark series will return, expanding to five nights of programming from Thursday through Monday. This series offers fans an exclusive opportunity to catch festival artists in intimate club settings across the city. Tickets for the 2026 edition go on sale on March 13 at 12PM CT.
