Countdown NYE 2025 Reveals Lineup for Los Angeles Convention Center Debut

Insomniac has officially revealed the lineup for Countdown NYE 2025, marking the festival’s most ambitious edition yet. Now in its 11th year, the intergalactic celebration will make first contact with a brand-new home: The Los Angeles Convention Center. The venue will transform into a sprawling cosmic playground this December 31st, featuring four immersive stages, towering art installations, and the return of the provocative Red Light District.

Running from 7PM until 5AM, Countdown promises an all-night odyssey to welcome the new year in true Insomniac fashion. This year’s lineup brings together some of the biggest names in dance music, spanning house, techno, bass, and drum & bass.

Star-Studded Lineup

  • House & Progressive Legends: The cosmic journey will be led by John Summit, Above & Beyond, and Pryda (Eric Prydz’s alias), delivering everything from surging house grooves to transcendent progressive soundscapes. Madeon (DJ Set) will bring his cinematic flair, while SLANDER infuse their emotionally charged bass melodies.
  • Bass & DnB Powerhouses: Sub Focus, Crankdat, and Wuki will keep energy levels sky-high, with support from viral duo Ship Wrek and high-BPM selector MPH.
  • Techno & Hard Dance Heavyweights: Countdown will also spotlight Berlin and European underground forces including Kobosil, Cera Khin, Clara Cuvé, Kevin de Vries, and Shlømo.
  • Rising Talents: Fans can also catch fresh faces like AK SPORTS, southstar, Starjunk 95, Gravagerz, Marie Nyx, AR/CO, OdyMel, and more.

A New Era in Downtown LA

Moving into the heart of Los Angeles, the Convention Center provides a massive backdrop for Countdown’s futuristic theme. Headliners can expect to roam among extraterrestrial art installations, immersive stage design, and champagne-fueled midnight celebrations.

The Red Light District—a fan favorite for its risqué and theatrical environment—will also return, adding another layer of intrigue to the festival’s immersive world.

GA and VIP passes for Countdown NYE 2025 are on sale now at the official site. VIP upgrades include expedited entry, exclusive viewing areas, and premium food and beverage offerings (21+). The festival remains 18+
