Docklands Festival marks 15 years with Solomun, Patrick Mason, ÂME b2b DJ Holographic, Patrick Mason and more

Germany’s Docklands Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary on May 31 at the Hawerkamp industrial site in Münster.

Solomun is returning to headline for first time since 2016, with other artists on the line-up including ÂME, DJ Holographic, Alinka, Patrick Mason, FKA.M4A, Gerd Janson, Young Marco and WhoMade Who.

Stage hosts include HE.SHE.THEY. and Kittball Records.

Dark Mofo announces details of expansive arts and culture festival

Australia’s Dark Mofo has an announced an expansive programme for its 2025 festival, taking place on the island of Tasmania’s capital city Hobart.

Curated by Artistic Director Chris Twite, the event runs acros June 5 to 15, as well as June 21, exploring music, art, light and ritul via performances and installations.

Artists set to play include Beth Gibbons, Tierra Whack, Rival Consoles, Cold Cave and Thaiboy Digital, while there’s curation from experimental electronic event Berlin Atonal, as well as plenty of specialist offerings including a Winter Feast ritual and Nude Solstice Swim.

“Dark Mofo is back!” says Chris Twite. “Once again we will bathe the city in red, filling it with art and taking over disused and hidden spaces all across Nipaluna/Hobart. Night Mass—the late-night labyrinth of revelry—will carve new paths through the city and a host of Australian-exclusive artists from around the world will storm our stages.”

Eastern Margins announces second edition of Margins United in London

The UK’s only festival celebrating alternative Eastern and South East Asian culture, Margins United, will hold its second edition on September 27.

The brainchild of East Asian-focused collective Eastern Margins, this year will see the event expand into a multi-venue programme — with a day event, featuring music, an exhibition and its Eternal Market in West London’s White City, and a night event at Kings Cross venue Scala.

The line-up for Scala will include Japanese hyperpop pioneer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Jax Jones, Emei, Budot creator DJ Love and many more.

Aquasella festival shares line-up for 28th edition

Spain’s biggest electronic event Aquasella has shared the line-up for its 28th edition, set to kick off in Arrionas / Cangas de Onís on August 14-17.

Among the names on this year’s programme are Blasha & Allatt, Chris Stussy, Hector Oaks, Phara, Tiga, Freddy K, SPFDJ, UFO 95 and many, many more.

Arca to make Greece debut for opening ceremony of historic Athens Epidaurus Festival

Arca is set to make her Greek debut at Lycabettus Theater for Athens Athens Epidaurus Festival next month.

Set to take over the iconic amphitheatre on May 31, the 4,000-capacity show will also feature sets from Bobby Beethoven, Sega Bodega, Toxe, Courtesy and Evita Manji.

Athens Epidurus Festival Is celebrating its 70th birthday this year, having first started in 1955 as an alternative showcase of Greek and international music, film and art.
