Glastonbury reveals new site map for 2025, expanding dance music areas
Glastonbury has unveiled a brand new site map for 2025, revealing a revamp of dance music areas including Silver Hayes, Shangri-La, Arcadia, and The Glade.
The new map was unveiled to the public for the first time on Saturday (May 17), showing a number of changes to its music fields, campsites, and surrounding facilities.
This year, Shangri-La will expand in size to feature a larger public area, and will see the addition of a new section named Dragon’s Tail, which includes a bar. No other details around the new space have been confirmed yet.
Shangri-La previously announced in April that it was undergoing a revamp, revealing its 2025 theme ‘The Wilding’, and comes complete with four new stages in a “ground up” redesign for the dance music-focused area.

Elsewhere, Silver Hayes (pictured) also features a larger public space this year, with a change in location for its beloved Firmly Rooted Soundsystem stage.
While The Levels and Lonely Hearts Club stages expands spatially, Silver Hayes’ Assembly stage, an indoor dance music space unveiled for the first time in 2024, shrinks in size.
The Glade and Arcadia also see some slight changes this year with larger crowd areas, while The Other stage will welcome a much larger audience area as its adjoining Oxlyers campsite is halved in size.

Public camping areas are increased elsewhere, such as the Pylon Ground and South Park 2, while new toilets are added in certain areas across the site.
With just over a month until the Glastonbury gates open, most festival areas have now completed their 2025 line-ups, including Silver Hayes, Glade, Shangri-La, and San Remo.
Glastonbury Festival takes place this year from June 25 – 29. Tickets went on sale in November, and sold out in just 35 minutes.
