Insomniac Cancels Remaining 2020 Festivals, Sets Eyes For 2021
Insomniac has canceled its remaining festivals for 2020 and is setting its eyes for a great 2021. These canceled events include EDC Orlando, Escape Psycho Circus, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Dreamstate SoCal.
Fans have been dreaming to attend a festival since the COVID-19 pandemic made its way across the world. Many have been optimistic to believe that we can see their hopeful return during the remaining months of 2020. However, after Insomniac announced that EDC Las Vegas wouldn’t be taking place in October, Headliners were speculating that the popular brand would cancel the remaining shows of the year. Sadly, these speculations have come true.
Pasquale Rotella, Founder of Insomniac, was the first to announce that the remaining festivals would be canceled. Fortunately, he has assured fans that their eyes have been set to 2021. This means that their focus for the remainder of 2020 will be on creating spectacular shows for the new year.
In a recent Instagram post made by the Owl Head, he states, “While this year has been full of ups and downs, it’s something I’ve found a lot of positivity & excitement in. This extra time to plan is going to allow us to make our 2021 events the best we’ve ever had both creatively & logistically.”
As we wait for festivals to make their official return, Insomniac will continue hosting many special live streams and Rave-A-Thons throughout the year. More live stream announcements are expected in the coming months.
Pasquale Rotella leaves fans with a hopeful message.
“Keep your heads up & let’s continue to look out for one another. I see a bright & amazing future ahead and can’t wait to be with all of you on the dancefloor once again!”
Those who currently have tickets to any of the canceled events, make sure to keep an eye on your emails. You will have the option to either request a refund or to rollover your tickets for the coming year.
Stay tuned for more announcements made by Insomniac.
