Portääl launches ‘Colossals’, marking a new chapter for its trance and techno universe

Portääl enters a defining moment in its evolution with the release of ‘Colossals’, the brand’s first-ever Various Artists album arriving on 5th December. In just two years, the project founded and shaped by Florenzо Hiäät has transformed from an experimental idea into one of the most forward-thinking creative movements in the trance and techno space. Moreover, Portääl now stands as a growing universe of explosive sound design, emotional intensity, and conceptual storytelling.

As this new chapter unfolds, ‘Colossals’ arrives as far more than a compilation. Each track pairs with its own colossal visual figure, expanding the Portääl mythology into an audiovisual realm. Additionally, the album unites a powerful roster featuring Florenzо Hiäät, Annina Frey, JEEN SEIGO, Traumtherapie, 11AI, Zander Club, THEW (US), Liam Judge, Pocho, Bertie (UK), Mr. Hellfire, and Ida Carolina—artists who collectively shape the brand’s high-impact, emotionally charged sonic identity.

The timing could not be more significant. Throughout 2025, Portääl delivered a run of landmark London shows that elevated the brand into one of the city’s most exciting underground forces. Beginning at The Cause in March with Saytek, Florenzо Hiäät, Simone Zino, and Dharma, the momentum continued into a sold-out Corsica Studios takeover in August with Clif Jack and Hiäät. Then, in November, Portääl reached its largest stage yet with a warehouse collaboration at E1 London alongside Memoro, hosting Space 92, Joyhauser, and Hiäät for another full-capacity breakthrough.

Now, with international momentum building and a 2026 European tour already in progress, Portääl moves confidently into its next era.
