SLNC Immersive Wellbeing Tour with Music, Biohacking, Yoga, Fitness, Art
EDM-based biohacking collective, Wellness4Humanity (W4Humanity) is setting out to demonstrate how music-lovers can begin to safely gather in a post-pandemic reality with their Spread Love tour (formerly referred to as “Spread Love Not Covid” Tour) now named the “SLNC Immersive Wellbeing Tour with Music, Biohacking, Yoga, Fitness, Art.” The next tour stop is Saturday, June 5th, in Austin, Texas.
With the widely available COVID-19 vaccines being administered to an ever-increasing percentage of the U.S. population, larger-scale social gatherings are beginning to happen. Although the scheduling and success rate of mass-gatherings has proceeded in fits-and-starts according to country, region, state, city, and in many cases, by county, it’s evident that the trend points towards a “new normal” of activity in the post-pandemic world. Venues and gatherings – both public and private – are frequently observing new health-related rules that were not previously considered. When the new protocols are instituted and enforced – be it at professional sporting events, private weddings, or restaurants and bars – it’s indeed possible to host safe and enjoyable events.
One of the companies at the forefront of the crisis has been Wellness4Humanity, which was an early innovator in the specialized field of rapid onsite virus testing tailored for larger social gatherings. The company’s Spread Love tour aims to host “biohacking” events that mix music, health, and fitness in medium-sized venues across the U.S.
Unlike the usual DJ-driven club nights or EDM festival, the events on the Spread Love tour will be rigidly structured gatherings complete with interludes for inspiration speaking – most notably by Tyrese Gibson, as well as leaders in the fitness and health fields – and space and time for instructor-led stretching, breathing, yoga, meditation, and other exercises. Music programming will include NOA|AON and his System Reset Experience involving the five senses and an immersive show using breathing, sound, meditation, and visuals to bring patrons “back to their center.” Speakers include Michelle and Keith Norris, founders of Austin’s Paleo f(x); Kary Oberbruner, author of the book, “Unhackable: The Elixir for Creating Flawless Ideas, Leveraging Superhuman Focus, and Achieving Optimal Human Performance”; actors Kat Graham and Bryant Wood and four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, Frank Elaridi; Troy Casey of The Certified Health Nut, and others.
The key feature of the Spread Love events is the state-of-the-art onsite virus testing that will ensure that all attendees allowed into the event premises will be 98% sure to be “COVID-19-negative,” ensuring a gathering free of stress and other health worries.
The June 5th Spread Love tour stop is at Casa de Luz Village, Austin, TX. Additional tour stops include August 28th at Believe Music Hall, Atlanta, GA; September 25th at The Sacred Space, Miami, FL; October 9th at The Space, Las Vegas, NV; with additional dates potentially being added in the coming weeks.
