[WATCH] Armin van Buuren Counts Down the Top 50 ASOT Tunes of 2025

It is that time of year again! The trance community has spoken and during a holiday special episode, Armin van Buuren announced the top trance song of the year. He was also joined by ASOT regulars Ruben De Ronde, Ferry Corsten and other trance DJ’s who joined the show during the special episode.

This year’s countdown was a journey through the “Transformation” theme, highlighting a shift toward high-energy techno-influenced trance while keeping the emotional, uplifting melodies that define the genre at the forefront. As the year of ASOT 1250 and the “Transformation” theme, Armin van Buuren’s own productions loomed large. His anthem ‘Is It Beautiful?‘ with Ben Hemsley (featuring Lucy Pullin) landed at #7, marking a successful bridge between old-school trance vibes and modern dance energy.

The crown for Tune of the Year 2025 goes to Bryan Kearney ft. Plumb – ‘God Help Me

This collaboration was destined for the top spot. Combining Kearney’s signature drive with Plumb’s legendary vocals, the track follows in the footsteps of their previous all-time classics like “I See It All” and “All Over Again.” It’s a powerful and emotional song that captured the hearts of the trance family worldwide.
