1. Free Opening Party At Palm Springs Surf Club

Heading to Palm Springs early? Start your Splash House weekend with a bang at the official Opening Session with Cut Snake & Mates at Palm Springs Surf Club. Palm Springs Surf Club has become the ultimate intimate outdoor spot to chill out and groove to fresh house music during the peak summer season, featuring a floating lazy river, waterslides, a surfing simulator, wading pools, and more. 2. $30 Drag Brunch With Ru Paul Stars 

Get ready to be gagged at Drag Brunch at Reforma. Enjoy a fabulous morning sipping on mimosas and partying with the fiercest queens, including RuPaul’s Drag Race icons Jasmine Masters  and Aura Mayari. Kelly K Doll will also be gracing the stage, with the ever-stylish Epiphany Kali as your host. The theme is Hip Hop Divas Drag, featuring stars dressed as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Ice Spice. 3. Participate In Bitchin’ Balconies

A long-time tradition of Splash House, Splashmates staying in a balcony room at one of the official host hotels can show off their decoration skills by upgrading their balcony from “bare” to bitchin.’ Several prizes will be handed out to the standouts of each weekend, including VIP upgrades, meal vouchers, after-hours tickets, and even tickets to the 2025 rendition of the event. 

Here are the rules:

1. Decorate your balcony (i.e. flowers, piñata, other themes … get creative). The uniqueness of theme, materials, props, coordination of decorations with costuming, etc. is most heavily scored.
2. Take a photo and upload it to Instagram. 
3. Tag @splashhouse and use #bitchinbalconies. Make sure your profile is public.
4. Upload your photo and select your weekend.

4. Take An Ableton Production Class

Check out School House at the Renaissance Mojave Learning Center, where attendees can dive into the dynamic world of music production with a hands-on Ableton class led by a special guest. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, this session will elevate your skills and ignite your creativity.

5. Relax At A Yoga Soundbath, Or Chill Out In An Ice Plunge

Check out Desert Ice Dips at the Renaissance, where you can dive into a revitalizing ice bath session. Grab your towel and jump in for a chilly adventure that’ll leave you feeling both relaxed and energized—the perfect way to start a full day of fun under the hot desert sun.

Desert Ice Dips will be hosted on the Grand Ballroom Patio on Saturday, August 17, at 11:00AM.

You can also enjoy a rejuvenating yoga session led by skilled instructors, allowing you to stretch and breathe in harmony with the tranquil poolside ambiance. Immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations of a sound bath, which will help wash away tension and promote deep relaxation.
