Mitski, Clairo and Soccer Mommy announced for new Leisure Festival
The Margate day festival has unveiled more acts for their upcoming debut edition.
Clairo and Crack Magazine’s January cover star Mitski have been confirmed to play at Leisure – which will mark their only UK festival appearances other than Glastonbury. Other acts announced include Nilüfer Yanya, L’Rain, Sorry, CMAT and Soccer Mommy – whose performance will coincide with the release date of her new album Sometimes, Forever.
Leisure celebrates it inaugural edition at Dreamland in Margate on 24 June. Also joining the music programme is Margate’s Social Singing Choir, Melbourne band HighSchool and Joy Orbison collaborator Léa Sen.
Alongside the music, Leisure will feature an amusement park, games arcade and roller disco. Following their 10-year anniversary in Margate in 2019, London promoters Bird on the Wire are planning on making the event a permanent summer fixture. Tickets start from £52.25 and are available here.
