Metamorfosi Closes 2026 Amnesia Ibiza Season with Sold-Out B3B
Joseph Capriati‘s Metamorfosi brand officially closed out its 2026 residency at Amnesia Ibiza on September 29, marking the conclusion of a successful 14-week run. The season was particularly significant as it coincided with the iconic venue’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The closing party was a sold-out affair, highlighted by a marathon back-to-back-to-back set featuring Capriati, Jamie Jones, and Chris Stassy, which extended well into the early morning hours before transitioning to an exclusive afterparty at 528.
The residency, which ran every Tuesday from June 30 through September 29, served as a homecoming for the Naples-born artist. Capriati has long maintained a deep connection to the venue, and the return of Metamorfosi for a full season added a layer of prestige to the club’s milestone year. Throughout the summer, the Terrace stage became a hub for house and techno, hosting a diverse array of talent including Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Mau P, Josh Baker, Max Dean, and Ben Klock. The lineup also featured performances from Maceo Plex, WhoMadeWho, Damian Lazarus, Freddy K, Cloonee, Dubfire, Anfisa Letyago, Traumer, Fatima Hajji, and Wade.

The closing night performance perfectly encapsulated the season’s ethos, with the trio of headliners blending unreleased IDs with classic grooves. This commitment to a high-energy, late-night sound solidified Metamorfosi’s reputation as a premier destination for electronic music enthusiasts on the island.
Club Room Pushed a Deeper Techno Agenda
While the Terrace drew massive crowds, the Club Room provided a dedicated space for a more focused techno agenda. Throughout the residency, the room showcased rising stars such as Alarico, Serafina, Adiel, and Quest, who shared the booth with established techno figures. This dual-room strategy allowed for a more nuanced musical experience, balancing the high-profile sets on the Terrace with a grittier, underground backbone in the Club Room.

With the 2026 chapter now concluded, Metamorfosi continues to be a defining force in Ibiza’s nightlife landscape. The residency’s success during such a landmark year for Amnesia reinforces the enduring partnership between the brand and the venue, setting the stage for future programming.
