Nick Cave, Josey Rebelle and Caribou added to Cala Mijas Festival line-up
The new Spanish festival has announced 25 more names for its inaugural event this September.
Cala Mijas has confirmed Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Josey Rebelle, Daniel Avery, Caribou and Dan Snaith’s other project Daphni as new additions to the bill. There’s also set to be live shows from Overmono, Ross From Friends and Leon Vynehall. The beachside festival, which takes place on Costa del Sol, will also welcome Horse Meat Disco and Kiddy Smile for a back-to-back set alongside the likes of Nina Kraviz, Call Super, Crawlers and Dinamarca.
These latest artists complete the line-up, joining the previously confirmed Arctic Monkeys, Róisín Murphy, Bomba Estéreo, Kraftwerk and Bonobo. Elsewhere, The Chemical Brothers, Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, Nathy Peluso, Hot Chip and James Blake are slated to play the debut edition.
Cala Mijas is a new festival organised by the team behind Bilbao BBK. It comes to La Cala de Mijas, Costa del Sol from 1-3 September. Day tickets are available from €70 and full weekend passes start from €145. Head to the Cala Mijas website for full information.
